CEnet
Art
Cenet acquires and manages fine art on behalf of clients with the same diligence, sizing, and exit discipline we apply to equities and credit treating a painting or sculpture as a portfolio position, not a passion purchase.
“We don't collect art because it's beautiful. We acquire it because the position, the provenance, and the exit are all underwritten first.”
Fine art has historically moved independently of public equities and rates which is exactly why it earns a place in a diversified book, not because of any single artist's story. Cenet evaluates each acquisition on the same terms as any other position: liquidity horizon, comparable sales data, insurance and storage cost, and a defined thesis for value appreciation.
Every piece is independently appraised, authenticated, and insured before it enters a client portfolio, and again on a recurring basis while it's held. Cenet's role is the same as it is anywhere else in the book: diligence, structuring, and disciplined exit not curation for its own sake.
